Vanessa is set to release her 4th CD, "eep" with a special benefit concert at the Freight and Salvage Coffee House in Berkeley, CA on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 8:00pm. This will mark the return to the stage of Bug Eyed Sprite, featuring Ben Freelove, Tobias Hawkins III, Kent Saprling and Myles Boisen. Opening up the show will be our good friend Alexis Harte. Each ticket you purchase entitles you to a free copy of Vanessa's new CD, which features 14 original songs. Additionally, proceeds from the concert will go to benefit Environment California, helping them to continue their vitally important work.

"eep" will begin to peek out through the clouds in the coming weeks - check in with local Bay Area radio supporters such as KALX, 90.7FM, KFOG, 104.5FM and KPFA, 94.1FM in mid August for sounds from the new record - and feel free to call in and request it.
